College of Business Nationally Ranked by Hispanic Business

The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business has been ranked the No. 7 graduate business school in the nation for Hispanics by Hispanic Business in their September 2012 edition.
"It is gratifying to see Hispanic Business recognize us again as one of the top MBA programs for Hispanics," said Daniel Hollas, interim dean of the UTSA College of Business. "We strive to provide the best possible academic and student support services for our students. This recognition is a testament to our efforts."
The college has been ranked in the top 10 for five consecutive years. The rankings (in order) included UT-El Paso, University of California at Berkeley, University of New Mexico, UT-Austin, New York University, University of Virginia, UTSA, University of Miami, Yale and Stanford University.
Hispanic Business selected the top 10 universities nationally in business based on five criteria: enrollment of Hispanics, percentage of full-time Hispanic faculty members, availability of student support and services, retention rates and graduate program reputation.
The College of Business offers a portfolio of 30 graduate business programs that are known for their high quality, flexibility and affordability including the MBA, MBA International, Executive MBA and specialized master’s programs. Enrolling more than 600 graduate students, the college graduate student body is diverse with 34 percent women, 30 percent minorities and 12 percent international students. Accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the college is one of the 40 largest business schools in the nation with 5,600 enrolled students and offers a comprehensive academic curriculum at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
