Downtown Campus Programming
In addition to its programming at the Main Campus, the College of Business also offers select academic programming at the Downtown Campus. Students can complete their entire degrees downtown in these areas:

BBA in Accounting
Accounting prepares students for careers as professional accountants in industry, public accounting, the public sector and taxation. Accountants are trained to measure and communicate financial information to decision-makers such as investors, business managers, government entities and others.
BBA in General Business
General Business is an interdisciplinary degree plan in business. It focuses on general management with the opportunity to select coursework to enhance skills or interest areas without specialization. It is most suited to students who are already in careers and want a degree in business to advance or become more competitive in the marketplace.
BBA in Sport, Event and Tourism Management
Sport, event and tourism management provides students with an opportunity to obtain a general business background and to specialize in specific courses that focus on sports and events, or tourism.
Specialized Programs
Business Scholars Program
The Business Scholars Program is a mentoring program for first generation college students pursuing careers in business. Established by the College of Business in 2002, the program is designed to help students make a smooth transition from high school to college and on to graduation. It is open to College of Business freshmen, sophomores and transfer students at the Downtown Campus. Currently, there are 100 students enrolled in the program.
Sport, Event and Tourism Management
The college’s Sport, Event and Tourism Management Program is housed at the Downtown Campus, located in the heart of San Antonio’s tourism community. Tourism ranks among the top three industries worldwide. In San Antonio alone it employs more than 106,000 workers who annually generate $11 billion dollars back into the local economy making tourism one of San Antonio’s largest industries. Tourism is more than just fun, it’s big business!
